  • They aim to develop skills in chemistry for health andnanosciences.
  • The researchers have numerous local, national andinternational programs in pipeline.
  • Thanks to partnership with public laboratories and industries, this unit helps in therapeutic, diagnostic and  technologic applications.
  • In previous years, about thirty patents were submitted in partnership with both pharmaceutical and diagnostic industries. A part of these patents are related to the antitumoral agents blockbusters, Taxotere and Taxol (Sanofi Aventis & BMS).
